If you’re having trouble loading or saving a chart template on TradingView, it’s often related to the type of subscription you’re on.
Common Reasons
Free Plan Limitation
On TradingView’s free plan (Basic or trial), you can only save one chart layout. If you already have one saved, you won’t be able to save another, overwrite, or delete the existing layout with a free plan.-
Subscription Level
Higher-tier plans allow you to save more layouts:Essential (Pro) → up to 5 layouts
Plus (Pro+) → up to 10 layouts
Premium → up to 25 layouts
Browser or Device Issues
Sometimes templates don’t save due to cached data or syncing problems. Try clearing your cache or logging in again.
How to Fix It
If you’re on the free trial, remember you’re limited to just one saved layout.
Consider upgrading your TradingView plan if you’d like the ability to save multiple templates.
Double-check you’re logged into the correct account when trying to load or save.
If you have saved templates that you don't need, consider deleting them.
