Many traders rely on TradingView across multiple devices, but sometimes layouts, watchlists, or settings don’t sync properly between your computer and your phone. This can be frustrating—especially if you need your charts to match when switching devices.
Below are some troubleshooting tips to help resolve syncing issues:
1. Confirm You’re Logged Into the Same Account
Make sure you are using the same TradingView account (email or social login) on both your computer and your phone.
If you accidentally log into different accounts, your layouts and watchlists won’t sync.
2. Save Layouts on Your Computer First
On your computer, open the chart you want synced.
Click Save Layout (top right of the chart).
Double-check that your changes are saved before moving back to your phone.
3. Refresh Sync by Logging Out and Back In
If the changes don’t appear automatically on your phone:
Log out of TradingView on your phone.
Go to your computer, update your layout or watchlist, and click Save.
Return to your phone, log back in, and your updates should now sync correctly.
This method works because it forces the TradingView servers to refresh your latest saved layout across devices.
4. Check Internet and App Updates
Make sure you have a stable internet connection on both devices.
Update the TradingView app to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play.
Outdated apps sometimes cause sync delays or errors.
5. Clear Cache if Problems Persist
On your phone:
Go to your TradingView app settings.
Clear the app’s cache (on Android) or reinstall the app (on iOS/Android).
Log back in to reload your saved layouts from TradingView’s servers.
✅ Tip: TradingView syncs automatically when you save, but it’s always good practice to hit Save Layout before switching devices.
Still Having Issues?
If none of the steps above fix your syncing issue, it may be a temporary server-side delay. TradingView’s support team can also help if the problem continues:
